Candace Kirby

Candace is a certified lunch lady manager for the Newport Mesa Unified School District, where she doesn’t only feeds children, she feeds love and love extended to them as individuals, making every kid feel noticed. Her work also encompasses the Newport Mesa Adult Literacy Program, where she had the confidence to speak about herself openly at the Gift of Literacy Luncheon 2019 after a year of tutoring. Her testimony brought listeners to tears and encouraged others to think that change is always possible.

In her California home, in Costa Mesa, she just adores singing, cooking meals, and going outdoors, especially loving spending time with her loved ones, her two sons, Unrei and Antron Jr. They are still her significant source of happiness and living. She aims to be an inspirational speaker, particularly to young girls, motivating them to love themselves and pursue their aspirations before life’s obstacles come too early.

Overall, Candace lives by faith and believes that anybody can transform their life by embracing hope, love, and authenticity.
